• Vision

• The zoology department aims to equip students with conceptual learning and provide knowledge of experimental skills in zoology.

• The department provides regular classrooms, google classrooms, independent experiential learning in traditional fields of life sciences.

• The department works to develop responsible learners and researchers.

• It aims to prepare students for undergraduate, post-graduate, and Ph.D.

• The Department of zoology seeks to provide a basic understanding of life science and various scientific methods.

• Dr. Gunjal A. V (H.O.D), Published a book – Karyotype 

• Dr. Gunjal A. V (H.O.D), Published Practical Handbook on Ecology & Evolution.

• Staff members presented paper in national conference organized by Shivchhatrapati college and Indraraj College.

• Staff completed FDP on e-content development organized by Gujrat University.

• Organized field visit at MGM College, Gandheli for B.Sc. students in January 2023.

• Staff member (Mr. Muley E.D) presented research paper in ISCA 2023.

• Staff Member (Mr. Muley E.D) qualified MH-SET in Life Science.

• Student Achievements: 

• Students participated in poster presentation, research paper presentation, Avishkar and various competitions.

• Students got selected for State Level Avishkar Competition.

• Student (Raviraj Murme) selected as a best NSS volunteer 2023. 

• Student (Raviraj Murme) selected as best volunteer varkari in Pandharpur

• Students got third prize in AIDS Awareness Quiz (Adinath Dhole & Vaubhav Sapkal) organized by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru College.

• Student (Preeti Chavan) got Silver Medal in Running Competition organized by Dr. B. A. M. University, Aurangabad.
