Department of Geography
Vision
The Geography department aims to equip students with conceptual learning and provide knowledge of experimental tools.
The department provides regular classrooms, Google classrooms, with developing the capacity for both innovative and integrative thinking in variety of professional and intellectual contexts.
To Lead the development of academic, educational, and research direction of human and natural system, geospatial information science, harnessing the integrative nature of geographic science to answer fundamental questions of global importance.
We envision that the department will continue to build its reputation in undergraduate geography programs in the areas of mapping, global system analysis, GIS, GPS, environment analysis and planning, & urban and regional planning.

To create and maintain an environment for both students and faculty to explore understanding of Geography.
The mission of Department of Geography is to provide its students with educational experience of the highest quality, to conduct vital research that benefits society, and to serve our communities, from the local to the global.
We are committed to outstanding teaching and scholarly activities within the framework of academic freedom.
To provide interdisciplinary opportunities for students and faculty through collaborative research
Aims and Objectives:
To promote the study and research activities in different branches for the subject.
To bring Geographical awareness among the people to solve day to day environmental problems.
To educate the masses for proper use. Reuse of Natural and Human resources.
To contribute in the efforts to make the environment clean. Greener and Better place to live in.
To join all disciplines in the academic domain on the issues of development in the social, ecological and economic aspect.
To create awareness about new technologies in geography and geographical research.
