 Organization of enrichment programs  for student

  •                    Workshop: The Department of chemistry has organized one day workshop on Structure elucidation techniques in chemistry on 14 February 2019 for   M. Sc. Chemistry students to strengthen their theoretical knowledge of structure elucidation of organic compounds. Shri S.U.Deshmukh (Assistant Professor) Deogiri College  Aurangabad was the resource person for this workshop.
  •                   Seminar : Department of chemistry also organized a seminar on “ Intellectual property rights “ on 22 February 2019, for that program Dr. Mangesh Pawar (Senior group         leader,  Wockhardt research center, Aurangabad) was a resource person.         
  •                    Bridge course: During the academic year department conducted a bridge course on various concepts in chemistry from 03 September 2018 to 14 September 2018. Dr. Megha Rai , Mr. S. U. Deshmukh , Dr. Mahendra Chaudhari & Dr. S. U. Tekale were resource persons. This course focused on various important concepts in chemistry.
  •                        Best Practices / Innovative practices of the department

          During the academic year 2018-2019 department of chemistry conducted following innovative activities.

              NET/SET coaching, short notes, a Question bank, Students welfare fund, and blackboard writing as department best practices.

  •  Institutional  Social Responsibility: The department of chemistry has organized one-day chemistry practical demonstration and guidance camp for IX class students of            Sant Meera High School Aurangabad as institutional social responsibility
  •                    Study tour/Industrial Visit

         Students of department of chemistry visited CIPET (Central Institute of plastic engineering and technology on 15 January 2019. There were 90 students participated in the visit along with the faculty members of the department. In this tour, students got very useful information about the process in plastic molding, future job opportunities in plastic molding industries   and they got information about the various skill courses in CIPET funded by the government of India.

  •                   Certificate  courses for students: The department of chemistry has organized certificate course entitled ‘Synthesis of various transition metal complexes and their characterization by using UV- Visible spectrophotometer for students of M. Sc. Chemistry.  The course has developed synthetic and analytical skill in the students.
  •                   Remedial course The department of chemistry has organized remedial course for slow learner students of first-year students of M. Sc. Chemistry students to strengthen the student’s basic knowledge of Inorganic, Organic, Physical and Analytical Chemistry.
